Banana Pudding Protein Ice Cream

A high-protein, creamy treat made with banana cream pudding mix, vanilla protein powder, and Nilla wafers for that classic banana pudding flavor.

Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • cups 2% milk OR 1 cup (240ml) 2% milk + ½ cup (120ml) unsweetened vanilla almond milk (for a lighter option)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (31 g)
  • 7 g sugar-free vanilla pudding mix
  • 7 g sugar-free banana cream pudding mix
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp stevia or sweetener of choice, to taste
  • pinch of salt
Mix-Ins
  • 4 Nilla wafers
  • a few banana slices

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine your milk of choice, protein powder, pudding mixes, vanilla extract, sweetener, and salt. Blend until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint and freeze on a level surface for 24 hours.
  3. Remove the pint from the freezer and run hot water over the sides and bottom for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Spin on Lite Ice Cream mode.
  5. Re-spin 1-2 times until smooth and creamy.
  6. Create a well in the center of your ice cream. Add 2 Nilla wafers into the well and spin on Mix-In mode
  7. Crush 2 more Nilla wafers over the top. Add a few banana slices and enjoy!
