Honey, Olive Oil & Sea Salt Protein Ice Cream

This honey, olive oil & sea salt protein ice cream is creamy, high in protein, and bursting with sweet-salty richness!

Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • 1 ½ cups 2% milk (360 mL)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (31 g)
  • 14 g sugar-free vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 tbsp honey (21 g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp Himalayan sea salt (or regular sea salt)
Toppings
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil (10 mL)
  • sea salt

Method
 

  1. To a blender, add all "Ice Cream Base" ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint and freeze on a level surface for 24 hours.
  3. After freezing, rinse the outside of the pint under hot water for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Spin on Lite Ice Cream mode.
  5. Respin 1-2 times until it reaches your desired consistency.
  6. Drizzle 2 tsp of extra virgin olive oil over the top, sprinkle a little extra sea salt, and enjoy!
